Fantastic stay. The property amenities were great and immaculately clean. The best part of the stay was the staff, super friendly and helpful. They really want you to have a good time and enjoy your stay. Thank you for a great stay!
The staff and accommodations at Kimamaya were fantastic. Great location in the heart of Hirafu. Breakfast was included and delicious every morning. The staff were very helpful with transportation and dining when requested.
I wish I actually got to experience more of the facilities at this Boutique hotel, but as I unfortunately suffered a semi serious accident on my first evening at the snow fields I only really got to experience the view from the room. I will say that the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating aiding me where they could. I would highly recommend this Boutique hotel, even though I only experienced a portion of what it has to offer.
I want to live at Kimamaya. I have only the best things to say about this wonderful place, from the friendly staff, to the comfortable rooms, to the in-house Onsen, and the delicious breakfast every morning. Just a few of our favorite features of our stay include the ride to and from Grand Hirafu for skiing every day, dry room to leave our ski clothes, personal wi-fi in our room for our Netflix viewing pleasure, a lovely common room where we enjoyed the owner's own French wine, and walking distance to fun restaurants and bars. My husband and I truly felt at home at Kimamaya. We won't stay anywhere else.
I stayed for one night with my wife and three month old kid when we were traveling around Hokkaido. It's a small hotel, and there was only one person working, Peter, who was very friendly and helpful. He told us all about the area and recommended a nice nearby pizza restaurant - Niseko Pizza. Also, the included breakfast was at a really hip restaurant down the street with delicious food and another very friendly person was working there. The area around this place was pretty dead as it was summer, but I hope to come back over the winter if I ever get a chance.
Service was outstanding. Absolutely amazing. Couldn't fault it.
Accommodation was great. Lovely rooms, bathroom, fixtures and bed.
Food ( breakfast) was good.
Room although super nice was quite noisy as it was next to reception and the timber stairs leading up Stairs to two bedroom places where you could hear foot steps.... all foot steps no matter what.....and all conversations.
