Doolin is a wonderful town to visit. If you value your privacy like my husband and I, then this is the best choice. We had a deck with a hot tub overlooking the hills and the ocean.

Bed and linens were great and the shower was good. The staff were interacted with at the front desk and the bar were lovely. You cannot beat the location. On the downside, the little sofa in the room was stained and we had no wifi. I let the front desk know and they said they’d take care of it. There is a convenient adjoining public parking garage which we got a €12 discounted rate for but you will need to lug the suitcases down some stairs to get to the hotel lobby. Overall, with a few things that could be improved, we had a nice stay.

Perfection in a grand home!
"Great hosts who were very welcoming, a huge beautiful bedroom and bathroom with magnificent rural views, lovely linen on a very comfortable bed and the most delicious breakfast ever. The entrance and large garden were stunning. I didn’t want to leave and will be back."

"We had a lovely stay at the Talbot, large comfortable rooms and had everything we needed. Very helpful and friendly staff and food in restaurant was Excellant, we couldn’t fault it."
