"This hotel was in a wonderful location. It was a stone's throw away from the city center, but far enough away that you weren't disturbed by noise. "This location is just between The Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi along a brick walkway between the two. “De Angeli” is a 15 minute walk flat and San Francesco is a 45 monitor walk all up hill. The hotel offers breakfast which you can book along with your reservation that is bountiful and includes eggs to order. Dinner is available with a reservation which can made the same day. We left the hotel early to drive to Roma and they had a box breakfast waiting for to take along on our drive. We stayed in a standard double bed room which was small but included a refrigerator, a bottle of water, a teapot, assorted teas, and shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap. The bed was European king with allergy pillows, but a hard mattress compared to American standards. The staff is very attentive, on duty 24/7, and accommodating. The parking lot is plentiful and free. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you very near Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, and the Rocca Maggiore. If you end up at San Damiano, there is a bus that will take you back to San Francesco d’Assisi and The Eremo delle Carceri."

"Breakfast looks just like the pictures associated w/ the hotel. It's just an amazing sight. It's hard to choose your meal with this abundance of options. Additionally staff were helpful w/ bus tickets and information. "Old town" is quite a ways up the hill and worth every step. Pleasant gardens are also nearby."
