I would like to be as kind as possible about this TERRIBLE VRBO.... Smell-o-vision would've been cool to have from the second I opened the door and walked through the torn magnetic screen that was nailed around the broken frame. The floors were all soft and uneven. The walls and ceiling were water damaged, even warned by the owner not to move the TV mount in bedroom as it was not 'strong'.... well, thats because the walls are separating from the frame, sir. The dish brush was disgusting as were the dishes in the dirty, crusty dish strainer. The microwave was gross. Cabinets had drips and stains of food. There was a random old, open bottle of Old English wood polisher in the middle of the counter. The sheets in front bedroom were torn, no top sheet. The bath mats were dirty, stained and covered in hair. Hair on toilet, sinks and a rusty hair covered sink strainer. The front bathroom had a trash can with a sign on it to put all toilet paper into it, not down the toilet.... I was OVERWHELMED. So, we go outside to take the dog and my child out of the yuck.... to a dirt covered backyard with old ripped up patio rugs, construction trash. I was trying to talk myself into making this work, it's 11pm.... but, this is when I had to swallow back hot tears.... In NO way, was this appropriate to attempt to rent as a VRBO. I DID contact the owner, who couldn't understand my concerns. And offered "maybe a air freshener"?We did not stay here. We went to Motel 6... and it was better...
