Escape Coastal Resort on Casey Key

"Lovely small resort in an amazing setting on a finger of land between the intracoastal water and the sea. Check in easy. We got an upgrade to a 2bed and views over waterway. WiFi was good and the room spotless. Allocated parking for the room was quite tight, but manageable. We were supplied with a beach cart with umbrella, beach chairs and towels. The walkway to the beach was over the road, There are restaurants which are walkable , over bridge. Sorry to leave."

"If this location were anywhere else, it would only be a 4-star accommodation. However, this happens to have a beach as it's backyard, so the extra star is earned. I will say the property was very clean, check in was a breeze, and there was no noise or issues from the other guests. It was also an unexpected perk to have access to beach chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately we found the beds pretty uncomfortable and there was evidence of a big water leak on the ceiling in the screened in porch. Other than that, we found the property very comfortable, just no frills. All things considered, we would definitely be up for a stay here again as the location truly can't be beat - especially for the money. It's not every day you can walk a few steps to a semi-private beach dotted with sea turtle nests and the most beautiful sunsets."
