"The staff, Filomena, Maria and Eugenio were super friendly and helpful all the time.
The view is just amazing, just like the name of the B&B, a paradise. What was nice is that it is still a small hotel, which allows it to be very personal.
The pool was a definite asset, the rooms were very comfortable, and included a little kitchen. Breakfast, Italien style, was plentiful with lots of home-baked goods and stunning views.
Lots of lovely corners to sit and enjoy the view. The garden with lemon...

"Our stay at the Grand Hotel Europa Palace was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, an excellent location, and a timeless elegance that perfectly captures the charm of Sorrento.
What truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Every member of the team was professional, friendly, and genuinely focused on ensuring we had an unforgettable stay. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with anything we needed made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
We were especially impressed with the restaurant recommendations provided by the hotel. The staff directed us to several fantastic local restaurants, each offering authentic cuisine and memorable dining experiences. Their local knowledge helped us make the most of our time in Sorrento.
We highly recommend the Grand Hotel Europa Palace to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and incredible hospitality made for a truly wonderful stay, and we would not hesitate to return."
"When booking thru Hotels . Com they advertise the hotel has a pool but neglect to mention that it is only open for the summer at the hotel’s discretion after checking with hotel staff they expect to open the pool June 6th. Our stay was May 28-to June 1. The hotel site does say it’s closed until summer."
"What a lovely surprise in the heart of Naples---the staff was friendly and very professional. The room was exceptional. We were very impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again."
"Majestic palace was a great way to start our Italy adventure and definitely the bar we measured all the rest against. The staff was incredible- one of our party accidentally left their phone behind and the majestic staff provided options to get the phone to us. Antonio at the pool bar was exceptional as well!"
"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, unfortunately, but appreciated the welcome drink at the rooftop bar! Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options."
"Our stay was exceptional. The rooms were spotless, and the staff was fantastic. Breakfast was a delightful experience with an impressive variety of delicious food. We enjoyed the bar in the evenings, where Salvatore, the bartender, impressed us with his quick service and excellent drinks. The only downside was that the bathroom tubs were a bit high and slippery."
"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."
"Emplacement idéal à Naples; personnel gentil mais lorsqu’on a demandé de réserver un resto pour nous ils nous ont dit de le faire nous même par Internet. Moins aimé : les draps étaient rugueux et pas de vrais kleenex dans la salle de bain , plutôt des mini kleenex ."
"The hotel is not in Sorrento, but they operate a shuttle bus hourly. If you’re looking for town centre location, this is not for you.
The hotel is set high above Sorrento and from the public spaces, commands sensational views across the Gulf of Naples, and an amazing view over Sorrento itself and Vesuvius! It’s a hard view to beat!
The hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar and terrace all have amazing views and the swimming pool is lovely, although was almost bath temperature whilst we were there so ideal.
We had partial sea view rooms with balcony on 1st floor (224 and 222 which our daughters had). The rooms really need updating as look very dated and the balcony and partial sea view were just not worth the extra money. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which is always a negative for me. However, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have AC.
Restaurant was very good, although we ate quite simply (ie pasta!) and the bar was great - hotel prices obviously. Breakfast was excellent. Same dining room as dinner and a lovely space to eat in.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be plentiful and universally excellent, in particular the receptionists.
Note on travel: it’s worth taking a taxi or using the hotel airport transfer service. Public transport looks good on paper, but the trains are rammed. We did a trip to Pompeii by train and it was so crowded we got an uber back to the hotel. Costly but money well spent!"
