The property itself was very nice and the staff were top notch. The if you don’t want to use your car or motorbike then, getting around outside of the property is a bit. Not super bad though.

This is a lovely place to stay! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The hotel is well located close to Nong Khai railway station and the Friendship Bridge if you are planning to cross over the border into Laos. There is lovely large swimming pool however the sun loungers have seen better days. The mattress covers are all cracked and as a result the interior foam is full of water which within seconds your towel will become completely saturated, really not good 😌 These need to be replaced as a matter of urgency.

The property is a four minute walk from railway stn. It has a nice pool, comfortable rooms and is in a quiet area.

Lovely place
Only a small staff on during these covid times due to lack of customers but still great service, pool was clean and beautifully kept as were the grounds , very happy with my 3 day stay and will return there shortly

Slow check-in spoiled an otherwise happy stay
We booked through Hotels.com but reception could not find it for about 15 minutes because their record was from Expedia!!!! We booked a bungalow and during the day the aircon could not reduce the heat inside enough although at night it was good. At first our TV would not work but a call to reception brought us help quickly. The pool is clean ,large and has plenty of chairs around it. Breakfast was excellent. The value was good and I would stay there again

Moved here for 1 night after realising there was nothing to do in Nong Khai! IMO - If you need to be NK, better to stay here & make the most of the lovely pool & friendly atmosphere than stay in town. It’s the same price!

Check-in took way too long. They neglected to return my passport. Was charged a premium for a second bed that should have been included and was already in the room. Room was dirty. Toilet had excrement remains. Door handle to bathroom was broken. Electrical outlets not working. On the plus side, food was good although service was slow. Pool was nice. There's a very nice hotel on the main road that's excellent for less money.

The standard of the resort in regards to facilities, staff and service was excellent, however the entire menu selection for breakfast is well below standard, we have now stated there 3 times and nothing has changed at all regarding breakfast menu choices, this problem needs to be addressed immediately

A very enjoyable stay
From beginning to end we cannot fault this hotel complex.Excellent value for the money.Meals are served in the garden and pool area very reasonable in cost.Staff have good knowledge of english and are very helpful.Bedrooms are very well appointed.Would definately stay here again.

Peace and quiet.
Spent one night before taking a train to Bangkok. Vert quiet with beautiful grounds and pool. Easy walk to the station but a bit far to town. Great place to relax and worth spending a few days if you have the time.

Nice hotel in quite area
I left my car lights on and got a flat battery The owner who is Danish took me to a tyre shop to get it recharged. We went back to the hotel for 1 hour while it was recharging and went back to the tyre shop again. So 2 return trips . Guy who worked at the hotel also helped. Breakfast was good too and was Thai style but did have eggs, toast and sausages and hot too. I would definitely stay there again .

24 hour check in scam
reservation was prepaid a month in advance. They didn't have us on the books for the correct day nor the correct number of days. We were told we couldn't check in until 1pm due to their error. I chose this hotel for their 24 hour check in policy. It wasn't until I was actually dialing the hotline for hotel.com that miraculously a room was found. The TV didn't work, the mini-fridge barely kept water chilled, the shower had a really slow drain, we wanted a double bed, got twin beds instead. We were told if we wanted a room with a double bed (like I had reserved!) and a functioning room we'd have to pay for the upgrade. The hotel made it clear that we had already been "upgraded" by 1,200 baht - regardless of the fact it was due to their error or that the unit we were given wasn't fully functional. They then proceeded to pad expenses to recoup their "1,200 baht upgrade!" We ordered from the menu - was told a 70 baht item wasn't available - but we were charged for it anyway. Then, on the scooter rental, again we were overcharged. (2 days for the price of 5) -- within 1 hour of checking in- the hotel had blocked me on Facebook. It's like they had already decided that they were going to get a bad review - from there it was all about getting their '1200 baht' upgrade cost back.

this hotel is a nice quiet place in nong khai ,has a good swimming pool and nice grounds . It is not to far from the train station but a bit of a walk into town. My room was nice but has noisy air conditioning ( may have just been hat room) breakfast was ok bacon eggs toast salad furit etc

The couple of issues was the add for the hotel made it sound that it was closer to the city plus there was no pool service for food and drinks which was a talking point for most of the people staying there. Three staff sitting in the loddy next to the drinks and ice cream.But if you wanted food or drinks you had to walk over to we're they sitting?

Park like setting with great pool
We were three couples staying in bungalows for four nights. The bungalows were quiet and in a private setting of meandering pathways. The pool was tranquil with ample chairs. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruit, local favorites and prepared to order eggs. It was off the beaten path but transport was easily accessible. Free wifi.

Pleasant Hotel
Very nice hotel to stay in for a quiet relaxing time. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool area is very good and clean. Rooms good, It is close to train station but you will need a tuk tuk to get in and out of town centre. This is not a problem as hotel will ring one for you and getting back from town is easy to find one. Hotel felt very secure.

My family and I would definitely stay there again. It was close to everything, the mall, theatre, and train station( definitely not walking distance ) 2.5 miles to anywhere you want to go. We rented a motor bike for 7 dollars a day and just went around Nongkai. If you are staying there a while, 3 dollars on the tuk tuk or taxi going here and there would definitely add up to your budget.

Hotel with a pool close to the train station
Hotel close to the bridge to Laos (1,5 km) and the train station/night market. To the city you need a tuktuk. Wifi worked well. Pool clean. Rooms clean. Toiletries provided. Breakfast rather poor. You can rent motorbikes, the receptionist helpfuly provided a map. Good value, I would stay again.
