"Petra met us as we came up the stairs to bunkie from street level. And she was a lovely host Great view, ideal for a single night stop over in Port Dover. Swim pretty much right from her waterfront deck, shared (with host). Outdoor shower is heated. And is semi private. Bring your own shower soaps. "We checked in on a Sunday night when it was empty - for two nights. Not sure why they opted to put us in the room right beside the stairs, but it was incredibly noisy at all hours of the day. There is almost no sound proofing between the rooms beside you or above you. Both nights we were woken up by the people above us. We could even hear them peeing.. The second night we had guests beside us and we could hear them slamming doors as they went between rooms and screaming at their TV. The beds were also not comfy at all and the pillows were like half sized basically. While the front desk did offer to switch rooms after I left feedback via expedia after the first night, it would have been more inconvenient than helpful at that point. I also don’t love that they deactivated both of our key cards in what felt like an attempt to make us come talk to them about the feedback we left (it wasn’t a public review). If I wanted to chat about it, I would have. I didn’t love how I felt forced to speak to them about it. The rooms were pretty clean but the hallways and common areas were not well kept. Overall, we stayed here because we had to. Everything else was booked. Wouldn’t stay here again."

All of that being said, I would consider renting it again in the future."
