"We had oceanfront with balconies with an incredible view of the ocean and the beach. The staff couldn't have been more efficient and pleasant, especially Thomas at the front desk. We will definitely return and possibly make this an annual family vacation. We loved it!"

"My family of 3 go on vacation somewhere in Florida each year. This year was the east coast. We found Getawave and based on the listing, I booked it right away. I am a big fisherman and I fished EVERY day outside the back door. The owners were kind enough to leave me two poles and some tackle. I was successful in catching the green light Snook too. The house itself was clean, updated, and the beds were comfortable. That was crucial for us. Especially for 11 nights. I highly recommend renting a golf cart. We used it every day to go to the beach across the street. Luisa(owner) was very quick to respond to all my questions. If I had to give one critique, and I am being picky, there was a lot of noise in the mornings. I am up early; but the wife and kid like to sleep in. That being said, I would rent here again. The vehicle noise wouldn't affect my decision.Jim K."

Spacious Beach House in Nettles Island Hutchinson Beach

"We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! The house was spacious, comfortable, and accommodated our group well. Having three full bathrooms was a huge plus and made getting everyone ready much easier.The only issue we experienced was with the air conditioning. During the first few nights, the thermostat appeared to be on a schedule and would change to 75–85 degrees overnight, causing us to wake up hot. Once we contacted the owner, the issue was addressed and we were able to keep the temperature at a comfortable setting for the rest of our stay.One thing future guests should know is that each person needs a pass for the pool. We didn’t realize this until day three. Some of the pool staff is fairly strict about checking passes. There were two passes provided in the house, and we were able to purchase four additional passes at the Rec Hall for 5 each, which was very reasonable.If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend renting a golf cart. It made getting around much more enjoyable. We rented the golf cart available with the house, which was very convenient, and also rented one from Gary’s Golf Carts.Overall, this was a great stay, and we would happily book this property again."

"Nice getaway place, but know that it is in a very dense “neighborhood” with mobile homes and/or RV’s very close to one another. That said, walking distance to beach and private pool. Beautiful area and beaches, short drive to fun local restaurants, fishing, etc. Would definitely recommend:)"
