"We had a fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help. The property is located in a beautiful area with easy access to Tikal, making it a perfect base for exploring the region. The room was comfortable and, most importantly, the air conditioning worked very well—which is absolutely appreciated in this climate. We also loved the lake access and complimentary kayaks, which made for a memorable and relaxing experience. The only thing future guests should be aware of is that food and drinks are priced at a premium compared to other options in the area. However, the convenience and setting may make it worthwhile for many travelers. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would gladly stay here again!"

"We loved out stay at Casa de Don David! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were comfortable for our visit to Tikal. The food was also delicious. The staff helped us arrange a driver for airport pickup and dropoff as well as transportation to and from Tikal. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"Excellent location to access Tikal. Pool was amazing! We swam in the rain. The bungalows are incredible. We appreciated having power at night to charge phones, even though the main building turns off their generator. The food is great, staff was kind and patient with our limited Spanish. Netting around the beds was a must for night time, worked well and kept the gnats out. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend staying here to explore Tikal. "
