"Incredible location for exploring Tikal, if you want to walk around by yourself and not be stuck with the times of a tour from Flores or stuck with a tour group this is your place. We had the park almost to ourselves doing it this way! Hotel is nice just don’t expect anything from the food, it is poor quality and they burnt my plantain then next day it was undercooked. Still worth it for Tikal though"

"The driver was 30 mins late collecting us from the airport so we arrived as the electricity was switched off so no fan or power to charge the phones which was a little frustrating. Other than that, it is a great location to see Tikal and the guide was excellent. We ate lunch which was good. The room was basic but comfortable and had mosquito nets. The transfer van is comfortable and modern."
