"Rooms look clean, sheets not very white. Staff members are different, some are not helpful, some are friendly, not enough smiling. Not very helpful in explaining, I asked Tuesday night for an extension stay, staff did not want to explain that they were sold out, and responded to go and check the online booking, didn't want to talk much. Other than that the place is okay."

"Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. As soon as we arrived Jessica made us feel welcome and showed us to our cottage which was cozy and spotlessly clean. The hot tub on our private deck was ready for us with fresh ocean water at a perfect temperature. (Thanks Adam!) The sauna has a beautiful view of the ocean and is on a beach which was perfect for a polar dip after the sauna. Back to the cottage to barbeque our supper and relax in front of our propane fireplace and end the perfect first day!!"

"Nothing fancy but it is warm and clean. Michael and his family and staff are welcoming and wonderful. Can walk to local shops and eateries. Highly recommend."

"I was welcomed like a friend the moment I walked through the door, unpretentious and genuinely warm. The house is charming and full of history. It's a Victorian home built by a shipbuilder in the 1800s. There's something pretty special about staying somewhere with that much history. The comfort matched the character of the place, and the homemade baking alone is worth the visit. When I had to leave before the crack of dawn to catch a flight, there was a box waiting for me with a packed breakfast that prompted strangers in the airport to ask me where it came from. Mahone Bay is a gem of a town, and this place sits right in the heart of it. Honestly, I'd go back without a second thought."

"Every thing was clean, tidy and organized, there’s heat pumps in the rooms with easily accessible controls. They left a sweet note on check in and check in and check out was a breeze! We missed breakfast due to a tight schedule and the hosts offered breakfast parfait’s to go. I’m extremely happy with my stay and will stay again "
