"I have to admit I was very impressed with the hotel. It was very affordable and was a fairly new build. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was a notch above most free breakfast I’ve had from other hotels. I would stay there again."

"This could be a nice hotel. We stay once before and it was fine but this time the common area were very dirty, pool area smelled of pee. Breakfast food on the floor in the afternoon left over from lunch. The nice lady checking in was by herself due to being short staffed so it was a long check in time. Some of the Rooms were really run down. The mattresses were good. It could be a really nice place if cleaned up and properly staffed."

"Considering that we stayed there for one night, we had a good experience. While the room was small, it was clean. The hotel overall was good. One thing we noticed was that there wasn’t many vegetarian options available at the breakfast. However, we still had an experience worthy of an 8/10."

"Had reserved many rooms a year in advance and called a few weeks before arriving. Noted in both reservation and phone call we needed our rooms next to each other. We were not even close to each other after check in. Trash cans in room are no bigger than a liter bottle, very inconvenient. Overall nice hotel and would stay again if needed."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent and we had good service. That being said, the motel was being renovated and was noisy and dusty. There was only one working elevator by the front desk and it was in need of repair. Long wait times and when buttons for floors were pushed it often didn't register in the elevator. The bad news for expedia travelers is that the hotel and expedia have an arrangement whereby you pay $15 a night for parking at a facility that advertises "free" parking for the general public. The charge is buried in the fine print of expedia's booking policy and most travelers will not notice they are being ripped off in this instance. I complained to management at the hotel and the manager was the one to show me expedia's fine print clause on parking. The manager waived one night's charge and I was told to contact either their customer support office or expedia to get the other night's charge waived. I did contact their support office and when I checked out there was no charge for parking. I'll have to wait until my credit card statement arrives to see if that was actually the case. The irritating thing is I should not have had to do anything as the motel advertises free parking and I should not be ripped off by embassy suites or expedia in the first place. It's a buyer beware situation and reflects poorly on expedia and embassy suites"

"Clean room, staff at front desk took forever to do anything. One staff member told us the pool was closed and then we found out it wasn’t closed..but then it was too late for us to swim. Restaurant food wasn’t great and was overpriced..but the restaurant staff were amazing. The bar was also overpriced. Was told parking was $12 per vehicle, we said six times that we only had one vehicle and we were still charged $24."
