Chibden Bottom, Ibsley Common, New Forest. Looking down into the open end of Chibden Bottom on Ibsley Common. There are many different zones of vegetation, indicating the changes in underlying soil structure and drainage. The bright green areas are young bracken, the light green swathe in the valley bottom is a valley mire.

Lovely clean room, friendly staff, overall a brilliant stay. The only issue we had was ordering room service! Too late for food from restaurant, but couldn't order room service until 11pm, we ordered an deliveroo in the end!
