"Very nice property. Great customer service. Loved the sunset over the water villa. Their Spa is a must visit. The spa personnel is very knowledgeable. We had the best massages. Went there twice for couple massages. Snorkeling was awesome. We also kayaked most of the days which was a blast. The island is close to the main land which has its ups and downs. It’s easy to get there by boat but very close to all the industrial work zones. Nice experience in general. We enjoyed our time."

"Beach was lovely. Unfortunately too many mosquito and sand flies, even in the room despite treating the room. Food choices very limited and not ideal if you are fussy or have dietary requirements. We moved to another hotel after 7 days and couldn't bear the same food and the amount of bites any longer "

"We visited Kurumba 12 years ago so this was a return to 'paradise'. The welcome at the airport and transfer to the resort by speedboat was efficient and hassle free, however it did cost $324 for the two of us, something we did not discover until a couple of days before arrival. The Kurumba has a wide range of facilities from the Spa to the glass bottomed boat and tennis courts and in that respect it lives you up its 5* rating. However as occupancy rates were down the specialist restaurants were only open for a couple of days a week, it would have been helpful to have been told this when we arrived. Our beachside bungalow was as ideal as expected although it did look a bit tired. All the staff were very professional, welcoming and attentive. I was particularly impressed with the guys who were constantly cleaning the beaches and common grounds, also the nightly singer was very good and entertaining. The noise of sea planes taking off from Male for the islands was however somewhat intrusive and not as we remembered. Overall we had a very good and enjoyable stay."

"Meeru was there to greet us when our plane arrived, we crossed the street and got on the yransfer speed boat, so easy and I was so worried !"

"Since our arrival, we have encountered several significant discrepancies between our booking and the actual experience provided. First, although we booked an all-inclusive package, we were informed upon arrival that we are required to pay for any food items or drinks left unfinished from the menu. This contradicts the standard understanding of an all-inclusive agreement. Furthermore, we were moved to an Ocean View Villa rather than the Sunset Beach Villa we specifically reserved. Most concerning is the safety and transparency of the resort. On arrival, we were asked to sign a liability waiver stating that the resort would not be responsible for our safety. This is particularly alarming given the high presence of bats throughout the island. Given these misleading terms and the request to waive basic safety responsibilities, I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience"

" Great island, water villa spot on. Foo outstanding and cleaners and waiters/chefs and bar staff amazing. Reception staff need more training to ensure the same consistent friendly experience as they did not look comfortable dealing with guests and slow support. Would revisit however resort management need to urgently change health and safety warrior their maintenance staff. Such low standards exhibited working with electric equipment in water under the spa, no risk mitigation which is not acceptable. No personal protective equipment and high risk to loss of life in addition to impact on guests. "
