"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"Eva and Rob’s place was beautiful, clean and spacious. We had a very warm welcome and were even greeted with a gift basket and toys for our dogs! The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfy and the view was gorgeous. Our pups loved the nearby trails too. My friends and I will be coming back in the future. "We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. "The property was perfect for our needs (3 couples, one with an infant). Four private bedrooms, each with its own ensuite was ideal. The central kitchen was well stocked and spacious. Our host was very accommodating. One area for improvement would be the addition of blackout curtains for the bedrooms."
