We hated to leave!
Favorite lodging of the nine or ten on our 3 week trip! Cheryl Chambers goes beyond to be accommodating, welcoming and informative. Large space-our room was about 25’ long, with bed at one end and Tv+ 2 wing chairs at the other, enclosed dining area, & balcony deck overlooking her gardens. She provides wine, nuts and candy in the entry foyer, and has tea & coffees in the room. Refrig just outside our door to share with the other room across the hall. Amazing breakfast, served on lovely linens and china in a side dining area away from her other 4 guests (my husband is immune-compromised so we dont normally dine indoors.) Pear and cinnamon whole wheat pancakes, eggs baked in cups made of thinly sliced honey smoked ham, fruit cup with crème fresh and coconut topping, garden tomatoes with balsamic and basil, freshly baked bread. Wow! Highly recommend. And her rates would be acceptable even if 50% higher.

This is a beautiful property. The host could not be nicer and helpful and she maintains a wonderful bed and breakfast. Even though we could not stay for breakfast, she took the time to give us a to go lunch which was unexpected and extremely thoughtful. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Very nice stay! Cheryl was great and communicated well! The place is very well maintained and a gorgeous place to stay in North Sydney! Close to the Ferry and walkable to restaurants. Breakfast was GREAT! Would stay here again.

Beautiful Heritage stay
This was the best B&B we stayed in during our stay in the Maritimes! From the unlimited display of antiques in this beautiful heritage home, to the lovely yard for strolling through. Cheryl is a fantastic hostess with her Maritime charm. The breakfast she prepared made us feel like a king and queen for the day! We highly recommend this accomodation!

Wonderful B&B
Both Cheryl, the owner, and the accomodations were exceptional. We had a very restful night in our beautiful room. Cheryl provided many thoughtful extras, including dining recommendations. The breakfast she prepared was one of the best we have ever had at a B&B. We highly recommend this lovely B&B!

Beautiful historic home in great location. The owner is friendly and helpful. Our suite was lovely. Bed was super comfortable. Our only disappointment was that there was no ensuite. There was a bathroom (for our use only) right outside the suite. There were no bathrobes provided and we do not carry them while vacationing. We would not have booked this guest home had we realized that. The breakfasts were fantastic. There was no leaving the table hungry. I don’t usually care for sausage but Cheryl served the most delicious I have ever eaten. Overall, wonderful stay.

A great experience. Our Hostess very accommodating, Nice balance between being friendly but not smothering. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, clean clean clean. Comfortable bed. Linens had the most lovely fragrance. A must stay.

The house is beautiful and comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Cheryl is very welcoming. The garden is charming. The location is close to the Newfoundland ferry, restaurants and shops.

This is a beautiful Victorian property decorated in the style of the period with attention to every detail. The hot breakfast with many homemade goodies was another treat. Very pleasant and relaxing place to stay before or after the ferry crossing to/from Newfoundland.

We truly enjoyed our one night stay at Chambers. Clean and large room with adjoining bathroom. Personalized service from Cheryl. Unforgettable breakfast composed of several local products. Victorian atmosphere of a house built in 1880. It is like a museum, full of artefacts. Very enjoyable.

This was a first class B&B. We were looked after so well by Cheryl that we have no complaints. The property is gorgeous and well-maintained for an old home. We felt at home here. Cheryl prepared the best breakfast and far more than we needed or expected. I can’t say enough good things about this stay. We would highly recommend this B&B experience!

The building itself is beautiful; a historic building that is fully decorated in line with its era. The grounds are stunning with beautiful gardens. The room we stayed in was spacious and included a mini fridge. The hostess, Cheryl, is warm, helpful, and prepares a phenomenal, home prepared breakfast, served on beautiful dishes. Guests can sit out on the deck, in the gardens, or in the living room. There is parking on site as well

WiFi & TVs in this beautiful Victorian home!
This B&B is so impressive! Very easy to find with on site parking. Chambers Guest House is a beautiful victorian home with antiques galore! All of the rooms bring you back to a simpler time. The bedrooms,with their own baths, are beautiful, spotless, quiet, and comfortable! Coming down for breakfast we found an elegantly set table,using the china that Cheryl has collected over many years. We were "wowed"by the variety of food that she had made. (she even makes her own maple syrup). Just Beautiful! Cheryl, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you for the great restaurant recommendation, the peak into your kitchen, and our wonderful trip back in time!

Most amazing breakfast it will be the best on our vacation I’m sure. Cheryl was a wonderful host, we had an excellent sleep. Great proximity to the Newfoundland ferry and free parking. I’m a gardener so I loved her garden as well. The fresh cut Lily of the Valley in our bathroom smelled amazing.

This was truly the most beautiful and extraordinary bed and breakfast I’ve been to. The house and the rooms are gorgeous and Cheryl helped us with everything we needed.
