Reception check in was brilliantly fast and efficient and luckily the room was available early. We love the garden and huge open spaces . Traditional and modern architecture. Access to Mon Brio via the Spa ( very good price in the week) is a feature we value greatly. Having 2 separate rooms made it easier to adjust sleep schedules and deal with the jet lag. Location was great. Surrounding area seemed upscale and felt very safe. It was a bit of a walk to gothic quarters but was happy that I chose this area as there were constructions going on at La Rambla street. Staff were wonderful. This place has the best of both apartment and hotel. "Excellent in so many ways. 10 minutes from the train station and maybe 15 minute stroll to Girona old town. Incredibly clean hotel, the staff work tirelessly. Not much in amenities but not that kind of hotel. Just great for visiting Gerona."
