"Stayed here many times over the years. Good value, great location. Rooms are small but efficient and clean with very comfy beds. Quiet, good shades. My only request would be to PLEASE INSTALL ADEQUATELY LONG SHOWER CURTAINS SO WE ARENT CONSTANTLY FLOODING THE BATHROOM FLOOR."

"This historic hotel is well located in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Front desk staff, bartenders, and food service staff clearly have a customer-first focus. From check-in through next morning’s breakfast buffet, a satisfactory hotel stay. I’ll definitely be back."

"This property is old and dated, rooms are small and very dirty. There were stains all over the carpet bathroom appeared not to have been cleaned in months. A lot of dust, bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very old mattress squeaky and very cheap. I stay at many hotels throughout the country and stay in Chicago often and thought I’d try this property, I will never be going back. The property charges way too much for having so many cleanliness issues and be so outdated."
