"Check in- poor- arrived at 4:00 and room not ready- still being cleaned. Room condition- poor- toilet not bolted to the floor. Breakfast- only eggs were cold, boiled and shells all cracked. Parking- total mess- could hardly manoeuvre out in the morning. Added to our “never again” list"

"Was unhappy with 1br unit booked. Got some push back by the check in clerk but eventually after I was very firm he showed me other room options and picked a smaller better one. Disappointed with limited kitchen pans and no kitchen towels or wash cloth but I managed. Besides that the room was good. "

"All staff were helpful and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The lady who organised breakfast was especially lovely and helpful. The room was nice spacious and clean with a limited view of the harbour. It was close to all amenities in town. "

We were greeted when we first walked in, was given information about becoming a member and collecting points etc. We stay at best westerns numerous times every year and no one has ever given us this spiel. The girl the next morning working at the breakfast buffet was also wonderful and super helpful. Biggest improvement needed would be more convenient parking spaces."
