"I stayed here when I traveled into town for work. The daily breakfast was great to start my day with. Plenty of parking. The pool looked great- although I didn’t have time to take a swim. The room was pretty big and included a small fridge and microwave which was very helpful for me."

"The area is very walkable, however it wasn’t made clear that there was no general parking available which made for a very stressful arrival. But once we arrived it was absolutely wonderful! The staff was great!"

"A very clean hotel on San Francisco bay. The staff is very friendly and kind. I have stayed there several times over the last 10 years. We love the cookies in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning. The have free bike rentals also."
Handlery Union Square Hotel

"Very clean hotel with a great location right near Union Square. The good: Clean, location, friendly staff. The bad: Parking fee is expensive (use the parking garage less than a block away instead), some of the rooms are pretty small, the pool is small, and the sauna requires a reservation. The meh: rooms are "outdated" (I liked it, but some people prefer more modern fixtures), and there seems to be quirky rules for accessing certain amenities (see sauna above). Overall: If its reasonably priced compared to other hotels nearby, I think this one is a safe bet."

"Very pet friendly, room was clean and balcony was spacious! Our family had a wonderful stay. We also enjoyed how the cute little shopping center was walkable and right behind the hotel."
La Bahia Hotel and Spa

"Unique, the snacks in the room are “complimentary “…sure, you’re paying for them in the long run, but it’s a totally different “feel” than places that put $5.00 bottles of water in the room. Staff extremely polite, attentive and helpful. Will stay again. Longer next time."
