"This is such a beautiful hotel perched high on the hills with a fantastic view of Mývatn lake below. The hotel is exquisite and luxurious. The rooms were comfy and spacious. There is a restaurant and good selections for a paid breakfast. It's close to the attractions. Get there early as parking is limited."

There is a hot tub to use with comfy white bath robes. A beautiful hotel bar and dining room. The breakfast was amazing (and included) with a huge selection of elaborate choices. We had a huge picture window in our room overlooking the harbor with a seating area to rest. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets so soft, I wanted to buy them. There was even a fire place and a reading room. Get there early to enjoy your stay, and get a good parking spot (as it's limited)."
