"My wife and I had a wonderful stay over Valentines. Charlevoix House was very warm and comfortable. Our host, Steffan, made us feel right at home and welcomed. And, he is an excellent chef and baker! The breakfast spread was one of the best we have experienced when staying at B&B's. Our room was spacious with a nice view of Lake Michigan. Location is fantastic - just a short walk will get you right into the center of town and all activities."

"While the Hotel Earl is a clean, modern, and perfectly located gem near downtown Charlevoix, my off-season stay was a mixed bag due to winter conditions and maintenance hurdles. The room was immaculate and the front desk staff was incredibly polite and accommodating, but the experience was dampened by an unplowed parking lot and the loss of major amenities, including a closed pool and hot tub due to a leak and an unattended lobby bar. Because I booked through a third-party vendor, no compensation could be offered for these missing features—and I even ended up paying for my full two-day reservation despite checking out a day early—but as I wasn't there on vacation, it was a manageable trade-off. I would certainly return during the peak season to experience the hotel at its full potential, especially to enjoy the rooftop bar overlooking the lake."
