"Our stay here was very pleasant! Karen was the most gracious host—very responsive, friendly, and kind. My husband and I come to the island every year and would absolutely love to stay here again!"

"A few smaller items that made the stay slightly questionable, no elevator bags had to be carried. Not much to do about that in an historical building, but it's a note for guests. I would expect a notch better, especially when coming to bedding. The bed was comfortable, but I would expect down pillows and blanket at this price point. The record player was a lovely touch. Parking was challenging, but again, historical town we must make compromises. Wonderful shower towels, GREAT pool and hot tub area. The location of the hotel is / was supreme. Only coffee offered in the lobby, no inroom machine, and no option of a latte, or capp in the hotel or lobby, only in adjacent restaurant. (Loud bathroom fan, bug in room, a little mildew build up on the shower grout, definite degradation happening on plumbing fixtures. At this price point, should be better)"

"We always enjoy our stays at the Harbor View. The rooms are terrific and beautifully appointed, and the staff is consistently helpful and friendly. The front veranda, with its sweeping views of Edgartown Lighthouse, the Atlantic Ocean, and Chappaquiddick, is truly delightful. The on-site Bettini Restaurant is another fabulous amenity—convenient, inviting, and absolutely delicious. You simply can’t go wrong booking a stay at the Harbor View!"

"The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. It has all amenities necessary for a week long stay. The Cottage is in a secluded location allowing for peace and quiet. The host was very friendly and accommodating. It’s a perfect size for a couples get away or perhaps up to 4 people. Traveling back and forth from the main island to Chappaquiddick on the ferry adds on to the expense but it ran very smoothly and efficiently. Didn’t have any issues getting back and forth. We had a great time and will definitely consider staying here again if we return to this area."

"This was our second time staying at this home on Pamela way, and were able to stay for almost two weeks. We enjoyed our time thoroughly, and this has been a wonderful house to stay in for these weeks we've been able to spend on Chappy. Christian was also a wonderful and accommodating host both times we stayed. Would certainly come again!"

"Had a wonderful time with our family of four. We played ping pong, tennis, basketball, and swam laps in the pool. Most of our days were spent at an empty Chappy beach or bustling Edgartown. The perfect summer week."

"The view is grand, it overlooks the southern portion of Katama Bay across to Norton Point: beautiful sunsets! It’s a very Chappy experience, down a dirt road into a quiet and private grouping of homes of all different styles nestled in the “woods. Continue on the road and you reach a wide expanse of a beach area on Katama Bay which can be sandy and rocky depending on the tides, tidal ponds to the left and right. If you want to go clamming, the rake and the license are part of the rental and there are littlenecks and steamers there. There is a Trustees of the Reservations pass, too, which gives you access to Wasque, East Beach, and Mytoi. There are loads of locations to fish and to put a small boat in the water."
Chappaquiddick Getaway with stunning Ocean Views, walk to the beach

"The drop-dead gorgeous view from the second floor porch is truly what makes this home stand out from all the others. You can sit on the porch and look out over Katama Bay and shoreline and not have to go anywhere else -- you are on vacation ! In fact, the entire second floor offers beautiful, scenic views with windows all around. We found it fascinating to sit there during a rain storm and watch the lightening show. As you might have guessed the house is an upside down design. The second floor, as you prob have gathered, is really special. The first floor is clean, tidy, and nice but the second floor steals the show. The first floor deck is also spacious and most of it is shaded, which is great on really hot days. We found our host, Erica, to be very helpful with a few little things that came up. The kitchen area is tight but completely workable. The dining area is great with a plenty big table and there's a glassed in alcove with a smaller table where my husband liked to have his breakfast and read his book. One of the nice things about this house is that there was space for the seven us (including a toddler) to hang out comfortably together or go off on our own for some alone time. Running out of space but want to mention: Walking up the sandy road to breath-taking Wasque with its crashing waves, swimming in the pond at Wasque, watching the ospreys and the sandpipers, riding bikes down to the ferry, visiting East Beach, taking outdoor showers, etc."
