If arriving by train in Alingsas, the Grand Hotel’s location can’t be beaten. Our room was very quiet except for the sound of the squeaky elevator passing the third floor. I have stayed at this wonderful hotel many times since 11 years ago and it is the only hotel I would like to stay while in Trollhattan, Sweden. Friendly staff, quality room, with swimming pool and sauna, and wonderful breakfast. Cannot ask for more.
