"Very nice little cottage. Once you get the wood stove going, it works extremely well. The bed is very comfortable. Better than mine at home. Quiet. Just what I wanted."

"Had a good time staying at this cabin. It was quaint and cozy. Nice trails nearby for hiking and snowshoeing and a short drive to a cafe. It is, however, right next to a snowmobile trail, so if you like to sleep-in, it may get noisy. Thankfully we are early risers so it wasn't an issue. I'd definitely stay again, and considering booking again in the summer months "

"The checkin process was smooth. The property was clean and has nice decor. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and appliances. All 4 bedrooms have lake view and are specious. "Situated on a beautiful lake, close to Lac Simon and other great spots. The open concept cottage was fantastic, and bigger than it looks because of the openness. Intimate Cottage plus Loft with Epic Lake Views

"It was a very cute and quaint cottage. The cottage itself had all the amenities we wanted. There was a cute hiking trail 5 minutes from our place. We shared the dock with others and we were close to the other cottages as well but it didn’t bother us. Everyone was super friendly! "

"Avec ma maman nous sommes venue passer quelques jours dans leurs chalet .le dernier jour il y a eu une tempête de neige ce qui a repoussé notre départ . A plusieurs reprise ils ont pris de nos nouvelles pour savoir si tout allait bien et ci nous avions besoin de rien il nous ons proposé de rester jusqu'au lendemain. Amazing location but needs some attention.

"We recently stayed at this chalet and had a mixed experience. Starting with the positives: this would be an incredible place in the summer! The view is stunning, with a peaceful lake, private dock, and serene forest surroundings. The large lot is perfect for families, offering trails and plenty of outdoor games and activities for kids and adults alike. It’s truly a picturesque and relaxing retreat.However, our winter stay came with some challenges. Being a country chalet that isn’t lived in full-time, mice were an issue. While we understand this is almost unavoidable in rural settings, the mice were particularly active at night, especially in the basement, and their noise disrupted sleep for those staying there.Additionally, we rented this chalet specifically because the listing said it had a hot tub, but there wasn’t one. This was a major letdown, as we passed on other properties for this feature, and it significantly impacted our stay. Soaking in a hot tub after winter activities was something we’d all been looking forward to, so its absence was disappointing.On a positive note, the host, Abe, was very kind and quick to respond. He acknowledged the mistake about the listing and offered a resolution, which we appreciated. Despite the challenges, the chalet’s setting is stunning, and it would be an amazing spot for a summer getaway. Future renters may want to confirm all amenities beforehand to avoid similar issues"
