"We stayed in a suite that was extremely large and beautiful, the only issue was the bedroom was upstairs with a big sheet over the bed area to keep the flaking ceiling wall paint with mildew from falling on the bed, not sure if the room was safe to sleep in...but we did for 3 nights, we were too exhausted to change rooms."

"The pool looks more spacious on the website and the water is very cold. I recommend noise reduction earplugs for the music at night in case you would like an early night sleep (refrigerator also makes noise) and as breakfast is being served at the patio your chamber is adjacent, you could experience some nuisance. And for the ladies; no hairdryer available. Furthermore, service is excellent and personnel is very friendly."

"Beautiful small hotel in an ancient building with beautiful furnishings. Our room (Sliema) was large and well furnished and equipped with excellent drinks making facilities. The bathroom was large and had plentiful hot water but was down a couple of steep steps from the bedroom. At the top of the hotel is a lovely roof terrace with fabulous views and a small pool. The breakfast was decent, especially the freshly cooked eggs. The hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is up a few steps up from the road and has more steps inside. There is a lift but it did not work throughout our stay. The staff at the hotel are delightful. The location in Cospicua is excellent, close to the Valetta ferry and with many restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance but feeling like a real Maltese town."

Access via alleyways with cobblestones and steps is a bit challenging with larger suitcases but you will be rewarded for your efforts.
