There were lots of trails that they used for hiking and running. Alan even supplied us with firewood, which we used. We would certainly consider revisiting! "When my wife picked out this unit, I had reservations because it is downstairs. Despite being downstairs, there are views of the Cheticamp harbor from 2 bedrooms and it is extremely well furnished, including dishwasher and washer/dryer, well designed and well maintained. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Additional pluses include a storage shed—we kept our bicycles there, it’s walking distance from several good restaurants and two venues with live music. "First let me start with Barb is an amazing host. Everything was perfect from the beginning. Barb was easy to communicate with, the house was beautiful and the spot couldn’t be more perfect. The views were beautiful, and the house was perfect from the decor to kitchen/bathroom essentials. Access to Baxter Falls is steps away from the house, towns close by. "I had the wonderful experience of spending 5 weeks, during the fall season, at this delightful cottage. It is absolute paradise. Pictures of the setting cannot do it justice. The deep tide flows are stunning. And looking out onto the Bay of Fundy is magical. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. I enjoyed the privacy of the location. Easy distances to nearby towns and the proprietors could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Perfection."

It was great, caught Fleet Week, saw Peggy's cove, Lunenberg, all the stuff in Halifax, narrowly missed the incoming storm....Good Luck folks.
