Superb New Hotel

What a superb new hotel! VERY impressed. Myanmar is just starting to develop and many hotels simply don't cut it especially for what international tourists require. This is exceptionally well priced and you would pay a great deal more if closer to town for the same comfort. Unfortunately if you find the correct map it's located outside the main town and many locals don't know it. However in this case this is not a problem as everyone gets around on bicycles or e-bikes as Bagan historical sites are stretched over a significant distance. Highly recommended.

바간 올드타운에서 살짝 거리가 있으나 호텔에서 빌린 이바이크를 타고 움직이는데 문제가 없었습니다. 직원분들도 친절하시고 조식이 맛있었습니다. 적당한 시간에 조식을 먹으면 멀리서 벌룬이 뜨는걸 보며 먹을수있습니다. 가성비 좋은 호텔입니다.

Hotel was lovely, very clean and good service. The pool was great and was the reason we booked here. Breakfast options were a selection of western and Asian choices. The location is a bit out of the way but we hired a driver for a reasonable cost. He ended up saving us money as he was able to negotiate "local prices" on everything from t-shirts to beer.

nice hotel, a bit far from everything

the location is isolated from nyaung-u, new bagan, and old bagan. however, it is a few blocks from the main bus station if you're coming up from mandalay, which we did. nyaung-u has some nice restaurants. there are e-bikes for rental on premise. a bit higher priced at 12,000 kyats per day, found some cheaper fees in nyaung-u, new bagan, and old bagan. free bicycles but it took me a long 25 mins to peddle into nyaung-u, just to get some dinner. overall, decent property

Amazing hospitality in a quiet, cozy hotel

The service staff was incredible throughout our three-night stay. My girlfriend was down with food poisoning and they were kind enough to arrange a doctor to make a house call, and even prepared and served us breakfast directly to the room. The hotel is near to the bus station though it's quite a distance to the main town area. The only downside is the abundance of mosquitoes (they provide insect repellent every evening though).

Good quality hotel

Very close from highway bus terminal so if you travel to Bagan Via bus at late time, it could be very convenient. Since the hotel is located in remote area there are pros and cons however, you can always use e-bike or taxi. Clean and spacious room, nice breakfast, friendly staff and I had satisfactory stay here.

Sehr schönes, etwas abgeschiedenes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt weit außerhalb von allem, ist aber dementsprechend ruhig und großzügig gebaut. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und alles ist noch recht neu. Der Pool ist super und die Klimaanlage hat Power. Das Frühstück ist gut und dazu gibt es einen schönen Ausblick. Ringsum gibt es nichts (!) zu kaufen. Als Hotelgast ist man also abhängig von dem teuren Restaurant und den Mietpreisen der Scooter/E-Bikes. Die Anfahrt bis zu den Ausläufern des Pagodenfelds dauert mit E-Bike ca. 15 Minuten. All das habe ich aber gerne in Kauf genommen, weil ich mich im Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt habe.

Very pleasant stay ... but ruinous eBike !

Very pleasant stay : the area is very peaceful, which is great at night and when you're around the swimming pool (which was clean). Of course, temples and restaurants are quite far away (10 to 15 minutes to Nyaung-U), but you will always need a eBike in Bagan to see all the temples so ... Breakfast ok, brand new hotel so comfortable room. Pleasant and polite staff. The very disappointing point was about the price of eBike rent by the hotel : 12000 a day is shameful as : 1) you reasonably NEED a ebike if you stay here and expect to see large parts of Bagan 2) in town, you can rent them for 6 or 7000.

Good bang for your buck

Clean up to date room with quality AC & clean. The pool was clean and peaceful. The power went on and off a few times no big deal, the wifi is very slow & you need to get new passwords 3 times a day if you download or do anything aside from email & social media. The food is good but western prices.

Good for value but far from the temples

Good value for money. The standard rooms are clean and comfortable. The internet is decent, ok to check the mailbox, but hard to make some search. The rooftop restaurant is quiet nice. The food is good and affordable. For breakfast, you can even enjoy the view of the ballons over the valley. The low light of the stay, is the location of the hotel. Far away from the temples. The taxi rate to get to and from the city are expensive, from MMK 8,000 to 15,000. Some taxi drivers may refuse to take you back at the hotel after dinner. A morning fee is charged for an early departure, as well as a cancellation fee if you're giving up taking a taxi. The minimum wait to get a car is actually 45mn if not booked in advance. And even if it has been booked, our taxi was 60mn late for a tour in Popa.
