"I loved the staff. I had a huge issue with my registration and they remained helpful and professional. Once we figured out issue (thankfully I had my email conformation) the issue was resolved. The breakfast was also good. I would’ve given all 5s but there was a cat in hotel lobby and I’m allergic to them"

"This newly renovated property that offers clean rooms a quiet, convenient location with plenty of free parking. The indoor pool is turely unique in its friendly atmosphere complete with greenery. The resturant is one of the better one's in Portsmouth but don't expect ethnic or specialty food. Breakfast is not included but the prices are reasonable a the food uniformly good. The bed was quite comfortable but the bath extremely small- really the toilet looked like it belonged in an old RV! The staff was competent and attentive and although we asked for maid service for our two night stay, only the towels were changed out - bed not made nor was thr garbage taken out. In all the hotel is much better than in most small towns but some of the small details could use some attention."

"This was our first VBRO experience in the Oak Hill area. We don't have any more family to stay with. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, ease of access, kitchen amenities, ease of temperature control, and general overall experience. The coffee bar was very nice. All the add ins were a nice touch and unexpected. The only negative was the slippery floor in the bathtub. Even after warning my husband, he slipped and went down on one knee. The seat helped a lot. I hate those sticky things on a tub floor but a mat that could be used, if needed, might be a good suggestion."

"The hotel has plumbing issues, Drains dont work, the plumber was working on something the first 2 hrs I was there the water was shut off. Other areas of the hotel under construction total mess. No attempt to clean anything up. The stairs to the second floor was the construction sulpy room. That was the only access to my floor on the secon floor. The warmer on the food for breakfast must not have worked because the eggs and sausage were cold."
