I loved the old style of the hotel. I didn't like that the restaurant closed at 3pm, that they charged us 250 pesos for supposedly dirtying some towels. The AC don't work property. Very small restrooms, no windows in our room. Receptionist Itzel rude after we told her about the towels. Towels are not white and they are also hard. I recommend you take your own if you decide to stay .

Thank you Casa Sotana! My daughter and I enjoyed this charming hotel right in the heart of the Central District (Centro). We walked and walked and walked, enjoying restaurants, museums, street parades, and chocolato, knowing we were always about 15 minutes from a quiet refuge. The roof top cafe was wonderful for breakfasts in the morning.

The shade windows and door must have the option to be dark since there is to much light during the sleep time. Also the a/c has a strong bright light, so provide something to cover it.

I liked the location of the hotel. The front desk staff was very good. The maid service was not good. Our room was great except for the poor placement of the AC unit. Who needs the kitchen to be cooled and not the bedroom? A simple inexpensive fix would be to have a fan on the space above the wall that separates the kitchen and bedroom to allow the cool air access to the bedroom.

Very disappointed! The images on Expedia are deceptive! Very little water coming out from shower head, smells horribly, lacking basic items that a hotel should have. I needed to borrow scissors and a needle with some thread, they had neither. The jacuzzi is a joke! The water was so dirty that I wouldn’t dare put my feet in it. This facility is very unkept.

This hotel is not good value for the price . Our King room (#18) was very small, and not very clean . It is a quaint hotel but needs an upgrade and the entire room, towels, linens are tired and worn . The upstairs Terrace had no chairs to sit on , the Jacuzzi area had worn furniture, filthy glass panels around it and the Jacuzzi water was not inviting at all . I will not return.

The property is in a great location. It’s walking distance to the city center. However it’s very outdated. The pool upstairs looked cloudy and It had an old smell to it. The key is also huge to carry.

Conveniently located, easy nearby walk to everything (just to note it is on a hill). The hotels service and cleanliness is great. I got the room with a kitchenette and I highly recommend! The room is spacious and comfortable. The only con is the water in the bathroom when showering. Water pressure is constantly fluctuating between “good” pressure and little water as well as the water temperature from hot/warm to cold.

Ok..lets be honest..the pics made it seem like we would have a rooftop pool overlooking the city. BUT It was a very charmong SAFE old world experience and would stay again! FYI. No liquor available on site..byob or walk to many wonderful little pubs or bars.

Unsafe location.
Car got broken into. Car was parked on the side of the road next to hotel while we went to eat dinner. Broken window and stole a backpack full of shoes and clothes. The actual room was ok, bugs in the bathroom and inside shower. Beds were very hard.

This hotel was an amazing value and location. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower; however, it did not deter from the experience. I definitely recommend.

Great value. Located right downtown close to everything. The only thing that could improve is the hot water. It's mostly warm which is ok for most people but people like me like it burning hot. Still didn't decuct any stars because it's a great hotel.

1st and foremost hopefully you read reviews as I always do and I did not for this hotel , if you are a budgeted traveler this is the hotel for you BUT if not don’t stay here ! The regular rooms you hardly fit in the bathrooms and are very very uncomfortable, we paid much more for a suite with a jacuzzi which we only use once as the temperature of the water was in the lower part and not what you expect in a jacuzzi. The cleaning people did not do a good job , never during the 5 night stay they picked up the glasses with water we had left and drank from the night before , I had booked two rooms and my sister made also an upgrade and she never got hot water in her shower even though we told the front desk in several occasions. All in all a terrible experience and if you are looking for a cheap hotel in a good location a don’t care about anything just go for it ! At the end it was me the one to blame as I did not read the reviews ! I know what management is going to write as they always write the same thing, please don’t bother as you don’t do anything about the complaints !

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel, except the pillows. That type of flat memory foam pillow are very uncomfortable. Other than that, loved it all. The breakfast was amazing. Can’t wait to be back. Hope there’s new pillows.

Yo compre con anticipan porque vi las instalaciones bellísimas en la fotografía de expedia y realmente es un Hostal y lo venden como hotel 5 estrellas. Esas fotos que estan en expedia deben actualizarlas. Me sentí estafada cuando llegue. La habitación que promocionan es la suite. Deberian tenern fotos de todos los tipos de habitaciones

The physical property was fine but the room was disappointing with a very uncomfortable bed and a bathroom that was very hard to access since the night stand covered half the bathroom door. The water pressure in the shower was horrible.

It’s been long overdue, I stayed in this hotel last year but never made a review. I liked everything about this hotel except the part where I lost my AirPods. I left them on my bed and went out and then came back to a cleaned room but no AirPods. I looked everywhere and even went to the front desk to ask and they said no one had seen them. I come back home to the U.S. and see the location of my AirPods are somewhere near the hotel. Who knows how this happened but I stayed at this hotel.
