"Es war eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, die wir je besucht hatten. Alles war perfekt: Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung der Wohnung. Vor allem der liebevoll gestaltete Garten rund ums Haus mit der vielfältigen Bepflanzung, der geradezu zum Aufenthalt im Freien einlud, hat uns begeistert. "We enjoyed the ambience created by the homeowner and the unbelievable breakfast prepared each morning until 10 am. Communication was superb. Parking was easy. WiFi available. Note that the property is a very old home hence the stairway to enter the second and third floors are too narrow for a person with physical limitations. "

"Für eins/zwei Nächte für Radtouren oder Wandern wirklich super für den Preis.Wir waren zu dritt, was etwas eng war aber dennoch für die Nächte ausgereicht hat.Die Küche wird mit der anderen Vermietungseinheit geteilt (was zumindest für mich im Inserat nicht ersichtlich war) und recht klein. "Also so so sauber; in der Küche gibt es alles an Kochwerkzeug was man sich denken kann. Auch ist die Wohn-Esszimmer mit der tollen Küche ein Augenschmaus und so gemütlich. Das ganz besondere sind die drei Schlafzimmer im Trafoturm. Alles so mit Liebe im Detail gemacht. Auch das Bad groß, sauber uns klasse. Ein Dankeschön an die beiden Gastgeber für die schönen Tage. "

"The hotel is extremely beautiful with a nice view to the valley and right in the center of the old town. The hotel team is very kind. Rooms are comfortable, beautiful and make you feel you're in a movie. Breakfast is very delicous too with fresh food. I stayed there with my wife for out 15th anniversary and they even decorated the room romatically - depite me requesting it last minute. I really appreciated that. "

"We weren't sure what to expect from the room - and we were stunned. It was big - I've had smaller apartments. Had a room at the rear of the property that overlooked the biergarten/restaurant, with a view of the city. French doors opened all the way for fresh air. We were on the top floor, so there wasn't a balcony, so if that's your thing, ask for a second-floor room. Rothenburg is very walkable. We took the train there, and the property is only about a 15-minute walk from the Bahnhof. We'd visit again. The staff was exceptional, property relaxed and easygoing, and recommend staying here to anyone planning a trip to Rothenburg. The central location makes it extra convenient."

Note that the heritage building rules do not allow for an elevator, but the staff is very helpful and will take your luggage to and from your room. Still, if you have severe mobility issues, this place might not be for you. One of the few places in Rothenburg that have air conditioned rooms available.Breakfast was excellent."
