If you run out of soap, dishwasher pods, want clean towels, or in our case, need more toilet paper, it all costs extra. I don’t mind having to pay for some things, but I’ve never been asked to pay for toilet paper anywhere else in the world and I have to say, it slightly soured my experience. "The lake and mountains were spectacular. We easily walked to the lake from our chalet every day to swim and enjoy the scenery. We were so happy we were in Obertraun instead of Hallstatt, which was very crowded."
