Waldblick Vacation Apartment

The Berndlhof is a grassland farm and children’s paradise. A paradise for kids. While parents sleep in the morning, the kids are already in the barn or letting off steam on our hay jumping tower or giant trampoline. Table tennis, a large play and barbecue area, a fleet of children’s vehicles, free pony rides, and campfires—and if the weather’s bad, they can play and run around in the play barn. A daily bread roll delivery service is available.
The spacious and comfortable “Waldblick” holiday apartment on the second floor of the farmhouse offers 90 square metres of space, enough for 2 to 4 people. The comfortably furnished, non-smoking apartment features two bedrooms with double and single beds. In the rustic living room, the completely child-safe wood-burning stove is the centre of attention and provides cosy warmth during the cold season. Hand-forged hardware, the solid wood ceiling, the 100-year-old linen, and the rustic kitchenette lend the eat-in kitchen a particularly cosy charm. The comfortable farmhouse sofa and the stylish dining area also contribute to this atmosphere. The furnished balcony, with an unobstructed view of the vast natural landscape surrounding the Berndlhof, rounds out the living comfort of the Waldblick holiday apartment, as does the bathroom with a bathtub and shower.


From the Berndlhof, you can enjoy the best that the Chiemgau has to offer during your summer holiday: Numerous swimming lakes, beach resorts, and outdoor activities await you. Chiemsee, Waginger See, or natural swimming lakes—such as the moor lakes of the Eggstätter Seenplatte—offer swimming fun for the whole family, and if it does happen to rain, various swimming facilities in the region invite you to enjoy water activities. Whether it’s biking, hiking, walking, or even golfing: there’s always plenty of variety to enjoy around the Berndlhof.
The Berndlhof was built over 120 years ago and is now run by us, the fifth generation of the family. Today, we—Farmer Martin Kirschner and Farmer’s Wife Martina—live on the farm together with our children Elias and Lukas, as well as Grandpa Sepp and Grandma Erna. We run a fully operational farm, and Grandma Erna makes her own cheese right here on the farm using milk from our own cow. We’d be happy to answer all your questions during a farm tour.
By the way, we’ve been renting out holiday apartments since 1993, and we’re always delighted when our guests—even those coming from far away—return to us time and again because they appreciate the Bavarian hospitality at our farm so much.
