The Fullerton Hotel Sydney
8/10 Good
"There’s so much to love about the Fullerton and it’s just minor things the hotel could tweak. We booked a suite which was absolutely lovely with plenty of space and light with floor to ceiling glass ! Exceptionally large bathrooms and walk in closets ! Ask for a clock tower view which is pretty great as you can sit in your tub overlooking it ! The staff is very accommodating. We had use of the Fullerton club lounge which was really nice but they do need to tweak it! It would be nice to have plainer food instead of a bit fussy food and nice to be provided bottle sodas in a refrigerated area to get yourself in case you want to pop in quickly just for soda. Don’t misunderstand as the staff goes the extra distance to wait on you but sometimes you just want to pop in quickly without bothering someone. They make specialty coffee drinks for you at anytime of the day which are great as well as do a fabulous tea between 2/4pm. Breakfast needs a major improvement (worst scrambled eggs ever) as well as the light canapés in the evening. We did the free tour of the historic Post Office this hotel is in which was very informative and fun. Make sure to take the tour ! Maybe you will get Lisa as your guide on the tour! She was very knowledgeable. Great location to major shopping as it’s just around the corner as well as great eating places ! Other than those minor things the stay was great ! No place like staying at the Fullerton!!!"

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location overlooking Sydney harbour. Five minute walk to tram stops, ferries, shops and restaurants. Rooms immaculately clean, beds VERY comfortable, staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 6 nights in June ‘26 and would highly recommend. Oh and do splurge on the breakfast buffet at least once during your stay, the choice, quality and quantity is amazing!"

InterContinental Sydney by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the InterContinental was absolutely fabulous! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We were so grateful to be able to check in early after our flight landed at 7AM, which made such a difference after a long journey. The hotel’s location in Circular Quay was perfect. We were able to walk to so many incredible sights, restaurants, and attractions, making it the ideal base for exploring the city. The views, atmosphere, and convenience were unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a fantastic selection to start the day, and the Aster Bar is definitely a must-do! The ambiance, service, and overall experience made it a highlight of our stay. We highly recommend the InterContinental for anyone visiting Sydney — we loved every minute of our time there and can’t wait to return!"
