"For the price, I was very impressed by the friendly service at the front desk, clean room with extra amenities like ear plugs, and decorative extras in the room that made it really cozy. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was nice and cool. We stayed to be close to the Pismo beach golf club (10 minutes away) to play first thing in the morning. We had a wonderful stay and then a great golf morning. I highly recommend this place as a clean, nice place to stay for a great price!"

"We have stayed at Oxford Suites many times. It’s a nice hotel in a good location. However, we were a little disappointed on this trip. Our bed sheets were on sideways so the fitted sheet came off the mattress in the middle of the night. They did replace and fix the bedding the next morning. The mattress itself was the worst I’ve ever slept on. It was so old and sunk in the middle. We didn’t get much sleep the 3 nights we were there and had terrible back ache. The breakfast food is terrible. The staff are very nice and friendly. I’m not sure if we will return there on our annual visit to Pismo."

"Clean and comfortable unit. Good value for the money. Very close to the beach. Basic but functional kitchen. The complex has a grilling with two large Webers and eating area if that’s your thing. Bed was comfortable. Shower had decent pressure for CA. Quick responses from the host. My only comment would be that it is on the corner of the intersection. This makes for quick walking exit to the beach, but also expect some traffic noise. We caught one of the weekends that had a special event at the dunes and the amount of loud traffic lining up to get onto the beach in the morning was significant. That said, this is a small beach village and the amount of traffic and people noise is minimal compared to Pismo. The weekday was very quiet and calm. The beach is wider, the sand is softer than up the coast so if you like beach strolls this is nice. Grover is a nice walk and back for coffee."

"When we first walked in the carpet has big stain on it which I just think somebody needs to scrub it spray with Dawn and get it clean and the carpet just felt grubby and then the towels they weren't White yellow the wash rag we had brown stains all over it just questionable how clean the sheets and everything were after finding that the tub could have been scrubbed way better and the couch the mattress or something in it needs replaced there is no way somebody can sleep on that couch you stink when you sit on it all the way down"
