"We wanted a quick getaway for a few days - just someplace clean with a fish camp feel and off the beaten path for the two of us and our dog. Our requirements did not include lush amenities or crowds. At the cottage, we got exactly that. Our host was immediately responsive and helpful before, during and after our stay. The cottage was clean, decorated comfortably and provided the basics for our stay and all that we needed. The river was easily accessible behind the cottage and parking was extremely convenient. In spite of the July heat outside, the room was always cool and welcoming. A spin around the nearby town of Sopchoppy was fun, with a coffee shop / bakery, boutiques and a brewery. I definitely recommend this property for a visit to this part of Florida. Thirty minutes from beaches, fresh seafood and the expected summer crowds, we hope to visit again one day."
