"I traveled constantly for many years and have stayed at hundreds of different properties, and at this price point, The Mallard Hotel is among the nicest I’ve stayed in. Clean, comfy, modern and a nice covered seating area outside with beautiful views. Highly recommend!"

"So much room! Three bedrooms(including master) upstairs. One on the main floor. One in the ground floor. You must climb stairs to get to the main living area, if that is an issue for you. Secluded out a dirt road. The river was about two feet deep and running peacefully when we were there. We fished and waded. If you leave this paradise , try Copper Grill for a meal and drive to Cohutta Cove for mini Golf and gem mining. "

"Place was fantastic. Can’t recommend it enough. They do host trail rides on a trail down near the creek. I was looking for somewhere secluded with water and wish I would have known. "

"We stayed in the cabin for almost 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year holiday! The cabin is beautiful and the host was EXTREMELY responsive. We had a few minor issues during our stay and again, the host was EXCELLENT on communication. There are a few things that are up to preference such as no window coverings and only 1 TV (huge projector screen) in the basement. The cabin was stocked very well in all areas but the items were a bit messy all around the cabin closets. I have to say that I have honestly not seen such a well stocked cabin. It was amazing! The cabin was spacious and we had a very memorable experience! "

"It’s our third time staying as the location is perfectly situated for two events we go to in the same weekend. The room is very comfortable and there are several thoughtful touches by the owners. We travel with our dog and the fenced in yard is perfect. Our dog also loved the basket of dog toys to play with. Water pressure/temperature and WiFi all great. "
