A hidden gem
My friend and I selected this hotel based on price and location, and were pleasantly surprised. The location was excellent, within walking distance of most of the sights around the center of Odessa, including the Potemkin Stairs, TsiochinBridge, etc. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and convenient markets within minutes. The room was small but comfortable, and was very clean. Street noise was surprisingly low through the dual-pane windows. Water pressure was excellent, and the hot water was plentiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and allowed us to check out later for a reasonable fee. All in all a comfortable, no-frills but inexpensive place to stay while you check out Odessa.

Everything was good except that they charged me the taxes twice, and I was annoyed but that. There was a new employee that when I got to the hotel he wanted to charge me the hotel and I told him that I had already paid , then we called to hotels.com And I was right. He charged me the taxes but did not give me a receipt, then when I checked out they charged me the taxes again and they told me that I had not paid it. Please ask for a receipt when you pay the taxes. There were 10 usd but I did not like the attitude at all. The location is very good.
