"Been on the road for 3 weeks and this was the last night. I can safely say this was the worst by a long way. Corridors smell,!uncomfortable and cold room. Very poor bathroom, very basic breakfast, weak coffee. Evening staff fine, morning miserable. Think walls and noisy doors. Just absolute rubbish. Will not be returning!"

"My wife and I decided to stay at Hotel Gasthaus Adler because we wanted to experience a quiet, classic, but not far from the black forest at all. Located between farms, it offers amazing views. Their restaurant was amazing! The food, service and atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with a nice bathroom with lots of room. We also had a very spacious balcony were we sat and enjoy the big trees right across the street. Ths staff made it...

"One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! "Hotel Sonne was fantastic. The hotel itself is in the typical area style, beautiful woodwork and furnishings. Extremely clean. The location is very good. Directly in the town center and local attractions ie hiking, etc. within a few minutes drive. The staff made us feel at home. The restaurant is a top rated restaurant in Germany."

"This is a beautiful place. Gorgeous landscaping, plenty of places to sit or walk the trails. Very clean. We didn't like the shower in our room, and there were quite a few stairs to our elevator which was difficult with luggage. I really would have stayed longer if we could. The pool was nice and I had a good massage. "
