"第一印象としては思ったより幹線道路沿いにあるなと思いましたが、宿の中はとても静か。昔の豪農のおうち（文化財）を改築したようです。大浴場の景観も山側が見えるようにされています。スタッフの方々の気配りもとても良い印象でした。夕食は質実剛健といった感じ。お野菜多めで見た目も美しく、お味も上品。量控えめなのかなと思いきや、メインは赤身の新潟和牛をしっかりめに出してくださり、最後は美味しい白ごはんとけんちん汁。おなかいっぱいでした。朝食も種類が多いわけではないのですが、美味しい白ごはんとそのお供を中心に、ビュッフェスタイルでじゅうぶんなバリエーション。さらに席についたときに3種類から一品温かい主菜を選ばせてくれます。ラウンジでも時間によってパティスリー、ソフトドリンク、日本酒などを無料で提供。チェックアウト12時はとてもゆっくりできました。"

"色々アメニティーが揃っていたのは嬉しかった。ただ、駐車場がホテル周辺のコインパーキングを案内され無駄に出費した。しかも私たちには簡単な地図を手渡されただけだが、あとの客にはこっちの方が安いですとかアドバイスをしていた。周辺を歩いていたら、私が最初に停めた所は少し高めであることを知り、出庫して安いところに停めなおすことになった。もっと親切な案内をして欲しいし、ホテルの駐車場に止められないのであれば駐車代を補助するくらいあってもよいのでは。と感じた。"

"Absolutely fantastic. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were very warm and kind and made my stay very comfortable. My Japanese is very limited, but they took the time to carefully explain things for me at a level I could understand, including the food. If you can get out to Tsunan (and the train there was quite scenic, so do try), I really can't recommend it enough. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer."
