The owner and his wife were so gracious and welcoming — and able to get the place ready for us in short order. The apartment is very charming and a lot more spacious than it looks online. "I will always remember the Sun Gardens hotel for its breath-taking views, their cheerful, helpful, and friendly staff, and for the legendary, world-class breakfast! I will also remember Sun Gardens for the endless stairs at the residence part of the hotel. It was quite a workout going up and down those stairs for five days. Next time we will probably stay in the actual hotel, where there are elevators!"

"We got to the apartment early , like the add says there is no reception desk, but a note tells you to head to the souvenirs shop for information. The lady called the owner to give me parking access. Which was amazing considering there is only paid parking available. walked around Ston until the room was ready without having to worry about the car. The room was perfect , mini kitchen , big living space , comfortable bed . Having breakfast delivered to our room was a great treat , and it was delicious I recommend"

"My daughter and I booked the first floor room at Villa Doris. It’s a studio apartment, so it is one medium sized room and the bathroom. There is a closet outside the bathroom, sitting area with a coffee table, a small fridge with a microwave and a coffee machine on top of it, and 2 twin beds. The amount of space and storage was adequate for us. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We did not have a sea view. Our terrace area just had a view of the driveway. But the beach was a mere 5 minute walk from our room. The beach is made of smooth rocks and has a beautiful view with clean, clear waters. There’s a local tavern right on the beach. I enjoyed the neighborhood, because it felt safe and friendly. The owners treated us well and responded to our requests. We very much enjoyed the 3 restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast offered by the owners is excellent. This property is about 15 minutes to Dubrovnik, We might have enjoyed a few small amenities like coffee cups and a mat to put outside the shower to absorb water."

"I love the place. It was beautiful. Had the cutest whimsical vibes. Only issue was that it was a little far away from old town, so it was kind of difficult to get an Uber anywhere. I waited almost an hour for an Uber and had to make a request three different times because of the wait. I would suggest staying here if you’re renting a car."

"If you are looking for seclusion then this island stays is for you. Staff ultra friendly helpful. Rooms are adequate and the pool and amenities are adequate. The negatives - it is an island so you are reliant on the Ferry to the mainland. This only arrived a handful of times per day. If you miss the last one you are stuck. Sunday is a no go as only arrives maybe 3 times a day. Though only 5 euros for a one-way ticket. The hotel is all inclusive however if you have been to Mexico this is not that. No mini bar in the room for example. The hotel is looking tired and not a 4 star more like a 3 plus. Overall we enjoyed our stay however wouldn't return"

"A wonderful unique holiday destination. Loved kayaking out to the blue cave. Exploring the trails above the beach house. The lovely restaurant across the bay with fresh fish and real homemade chips from potatoes grown on the island. We stayed for two nights and that was just right for us."
