We had amazing three days at Petra Segreta - the attentiveness of the staff, the layout and luxurious feel of every detail at the resort was perfect. The spa and pool, as well as the option for treatments all on site made for the most relaxing and memorable experience. On top of this, the food options - especially the breakfast were some of the best we've experienced anywhere. Hard to find any fault - keep doing what you're doing team!

Petra Segreta is a little piece of heaven if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing experience. Internet access was spotty. Breakfast has many good options. The restaurant could use a change of menus especially since there is only one casual dining option.

Stayed here for our anniversary AND my husband’s birthday. Our room + the restaurant was spectacular, as well as the service. The views and area around the property are amazing and the entire time we stayed here, we were just extremely happy. WHAT an overall experience.

We had a first class experience here with a suite with a stunning view of the sea and the spectacular mountains that surround the resort. All staff were helpful. The pool was heated which made it easy to swim even as the weather cooled unseasonably for September.

Outstanding!

Fantastic hotel, wonderful welcome with a glass of Prosecco, we were taken to our room which was perfectly appointed, beautiful outside furniture, lovely pool but a bit chilly! Breakfast was served morning in the main restaurant, every thing you could want. Lunch was great and the dinner in the main restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely be back, so relaxing!

5 star experience

A nice 5* experience!!- we would love to come back! What a Beautiful place. We stayed 3 nights in deluxe room with sea view and good privacy! However, Make sure your reservation for the hotels two restaurants are confirmed before your arrival - they charge 48Euro to drive you 2 km to San Pantheleo. (each way) We did make our reservation in advance but they did not sign us up for the restaurants so one evening we ended up with room service which was 20euro plus 35 Euro for each cheese burger. But at least the view was fantastic. All Drinks were 25 euro and did not include snack. We really missed a free shuttle to town- or at least for a fair price. Road to the hotel is dangerous with many blind angels so we recommend transfer arranged by the hotel. It was 110 Euro to the airport in Olbia. In spite of high prices we will definately recommend this hotel. What a nice experience! We would love to come back.

First class service and food-wonderful views

We enjoyed two beautiful days with excellent service and food! Got to experience both restaurants and both were wonderful and memorable. Before dinners we had drinks admiring the sunsets and the atmosphere. Only reason for not giving 5star rating is that our room (a mini suit) did not fully meet expectations. No real view and beginning problems with dampness which we unfortunately could smell.

Sardinia is a beautiful Island and the resort fits right in, but....Service was so so (spend 16 K for two rooms and stayed 6 nights). Sauna / steam room was out of service, front desk was not as professional as what we are used to. Not once did someone from management check in with us. No trip ideas received, no activity / program at the resort during the entire stay. No signs within the resort, not walkable for elderly people. Restaurant set up is very confusing. We had dinner in one of their restaurants on our first night, all nice and fairly priced. 3 days later we sat down at the exact same table and the menu from 3 days prior was not available that evening. We had to order a tasting menu per person, not what we wanted. Breakfast buffet was the same every day, no juice or omelet bar, very simple, too simple for what they are charging. We paid cash for lunch one day and the server came running after us to sign the bill... we said, why? The very same amount was on our final bill! Our check out was early (6 am) and we only had a chance to speak to the security guard. He was not allowed to change the bill unless we wrote a written explanation of what happened. He said, if he waves the overcharge he might have to end up paying it. We went to Florence afterwards and stayed at a 4 star hotel (Brunelleschi - can only recommend) and the service was the opposite. The stars should have been reversed between the two places, seriously. Not worth 16 K, maybe half at most.

Amazing place to spend some time with a loved one. In the mountain, quite and absolutely beautiful. If you are looking to get away, this is the destination for you. Top of the line service and the views are to die for. Make sure you have a car to get around if you want to go to Porto Cervo, it's an easy 20 minute ride. We will definitely be coming back to this gem!
