Very clean. Good breakfast. Right across the street from the train station makes a great jump off spot to wherever your travels may take you. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good value,too.

Upon checking in on the first night, the hotel informed me that all hotel bookings required breakfast to be included. I explained that I had booked through Expedia, and breakfast was not included. The hotel threatened to charge an additional 40 CHF per person per day, which I stated was not in the Expedia terms and conditions. I told them the hotel needed to discuss this with Expedia, and they insisted on charging me. I refused and threatened to cancel the entire booking. They then agreed and said they would negotiate with Expedia. Ultimately, the hotel apologized as it was an issue between them and Expedia, not my concern. The matter was resolved amicably, but it was an unfortunate incident on the first day of my stay, as it was very upsetting. Otherwise, everything was fine; I slept comfortably, and the hotel was quite clean.

Great location on the train platform, made sightseeing so simple. There was no noise or disturbances. Room was beautiful and loved the seating area outside and the wrap round glass windows.

Overall very positive experience, reception staff were very attentive and went out of the way to accommodate our earlier check-in. The room was really nice and clean, and we ended up staying in the hotel which was a bonus! Breakfast staff, particularly on Sunday morning, unfortunately did let the staff down, as they came across quite rude and unfriendly.

It’s convenient to stay at this hotel because it’s very close to the train station.
