Muir Woods Lodge

"As long as one has reasonable expectations I feel it's a fine place to stay. Not super luxurious, but clean and pleasant. We needed a ground floor room (bum leg) and they provided us with one. The coffee / drink machine in the office was nice. The older lady in the office was particularly friendly. The guest washer / dryer was basic but did a decent job, not too expensive. The bike / walking path on the other side of the highway was a pleasant way to get to nearby places (natural grocery was handy). Minor details: There's a roof in front of the Check In area (deck on top of it). It's pretty low, I'm guessing about 7' 6" (229cm)... Didn't see any sign (Google Street View looks like there might've been a sign in the past). If your rig is tall you can still get to the back side around the SE side of the building. The front planters have roses in them (pretty) that have chewed up the window screens with their thorns. Wasn't buggy when we were there but might matter on occasion. Parking was ok, we got one in front of our room. I'd stay there again."

"WE loved our stay! The house was so spacious and comfortable. THe outdoor spacious was beautiful. We had breakfasts outside with a lovely view. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and securely behind a gated entrance made us all feel safe and comfortable. Would rent again!"
