Air conditioner was leaking in the room which caused the carpet to be wet, and the room had a very musty smell. Cleaning people left door ajar after cleaning the room, therefore anyone could access the room. Breakfast area was nice and area was kept clean and organized. Staff was friendly.

Check-in was easy, even at the very late hour that we arrived. We requested a late check-out & had no issues. Breakfast was available and ready every morning-as always Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls were my husband’s favorite breakfast dessert. The front desk staff were very very accommodating to us, as we were bringing our daughter for SBU move-in weekend. With traveling all the way from Florida, I had SO MANY items delivered to the hotel prior to our arrival, that the staff and the delivery people had a running joke that “ I MUST REALLY LIKED TO SHOP” 😆 Will definitely stay here again in the future. Special thanks to Maria at the front desk for always being so kind when I called to let her know items were being delivered.

The older lady in charge of the breakfast room was so sweet!!! A nice, welcoming face to see in the morning. And everything was super clean down there. Five stars for her. She is a total gem! The room was clean, but the walls are thin. I could hear the dude next door in the bathroom. Ew. The bed was extremely soft, but it turned out to be a nice night's sleep.

I checked in, but assigned room had an unpleasant smell. Consierge was understanding and gave me another room which was clean and warm. In the morning I had a nice hot shower and went for breakfast at 8am. I believe there were only a few people staying so it's difficult to estimate amount of hot meals to prepare , so consequently little remained after 8am. My breafast was adequate though. All in all I was quite satisfied with my stay.
