"This was our third stay & we will likely return so that’s a good recommendation I think! The rooms are thoughtfully designed, most have balconies where one can sun bathe or picnic or read a book. The hotel is in the centre of Olhao & the front desk staff are always very helpful. The bar & small swimming pool on the top floor are good spaces & offer wonderful views of the town. "

"Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending places to go in Olhao. Relaxing pool area. Location was good, just a short walk from the town and marina. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as we felt that local cafes had more atmosphere. We really enjoyed Olhao and would choose the Cidade again. "

"We were a family of seven adults and six kids ages 7 months to 10 years the villa was equipped with everything we needed also high chair and baby cot games for outdoor play lg pool area plenty sun loungers and beach towels check in and communication was very efficient we only had two minor things we feel could have improved on .the bedding I assume was new for every check in but i personally prefer pillow slips and duvet covers and there was no spare bedding and travelling with kids you never know but overall I would still give my stay 10/10"

"Better than expectations. Brigh, clean, airy. Friendly and helpful staff. Decor and architecture exceptional. Lovely roof terrace. Location right in the centre within a short walk from the train station, the island ferries, the central market, good restaurants and bars and a small supermarket. "

"Hotel staff friendly. Room without balcony but amazing pillows. Stayed in room 410. Air conditioning and TV with sky news and mixture of Portuguese stations. Wifi good speed. No plug in bath and no bin in room. Overall good value for money."
