Sherwood Forest Crematorium memorial garden This state-of-the-art crematorium was opened in January 2006. It has mercury abatement equipment designed to prevent the release of mercury into the atmosphere, and is thus more environmentally friendly. The memorial garden is currently being developed, and it is hoped it will give a sense of permanence to mourners, who are able to plant trees & flowerbeds, or install seating or plaques in memory of their loved ones. The room was fine. The staff not so much though. The check-in staff member was not very friendly, nor overly helpful when asked about parking. Thankfully I will not have to return there anytime soon.

Lovely cottage in excellent location
We spent 2 nights here with our daughter and 2 grandchildren. The cottage was well equipped for all of us and beautifully furnished. The location was great being only a few minutes drive from Sherwood forest and all the visitor attractions. Would recommend.
