The Williams was somewhat old an tired. While you enter into a lively first floor, the upper floors where the hotel rooms are located give off a concrete jungle kind of prison vibe. Concrete floors absent carpeting and a white paint scheme showing lots of bumps and marks throughout did not improve what was already an austere decor. Carpeting in rooms and hallways would help. There was a significant lack of outlets for charging electronics. The room was a decent size for Midtown Manhattan, but was completely devoid of warmth or charm.

Great location; great service. Seemed to be a problem with the room heat/AC, but the weather was mild in NYC that week, so I cannot fully confirm.

"We arrived at the lodge’s main entrance road sign about 6pm, myself and two young daughters after a full day of driving, tired and hungry. The main entrance road was blocked by trees branches clearly arranged in a line across the road. No written sign to redirect traffic or explain. We drove on to ..."
