Welcome to Apres on Sandy Way!

Trade the car keys for ski boots and make this cozy Olympic Valley home your winter base at Palisades Tahoe. Come in from the slopes, soak in the private hot tub, and gather around the table for dinner with the whole group of up to 14. The bedrooms are named after favorite Palisades chairlifts, including KT-22, Headwall, Granite Chief, Silverado, and Red Dog, and the art and memorabilia span the eras from the 1960 Olympics to today.

Main Floor:
Enter from the front deck into the front sitting room, with games, toys, and darts
KT-22 bedroom: king bed
Headwall bedroom: 2 twin beds
Granite Chief bedroom: queen bed
Silverado bedroom: queen bed
Shared bath with a bathtub/shower combo
Shared bath with a stand-up shower
Loft (up the steps) with two twin beds and a reading nook, a great kids' hangout
Great room with comfy furniture, a smart TV, a dining table that seats 12, and a breakfast bar that seats 2 (dining for 14 total)
Chef's kitchen with waxed granite countertops, a gas stove, and top-of-the-line appliances
Back deck off the dining area with seating for 4

Downstairs:
Primary suite: king bed, en suite bath, sitting area, and work space
Red Dog bedroom (second primary suite): king bed, en suite bath, and a door to the hot tub
Private hot tub at ground level

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have the entire home, including both decks and the hot tub. The hot tub is at ground level and is accessed through the Red Dog bedroom. Parking: 5 vehicles maximum in the large, flat driveway.

Enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding, plus year-round access to vibrant dining, shopping, and entertainment. The resort and the Village at Palisades are just 2/3 of a mile away, with restaurants, shopping, and seasonal events close by. Ride the aerial tram and use the seasonal complimentary mountain shuttle to get around. Tahoe City, about 7 miles away, offers waterfront dining, boutique shopping, and access to Lake Tahoe. With breathtaking mountain views and a welcoming village atmosphere, Palisades Tahoe makes it easy to explore the beauty and adventure of Lake Tahoe.

Security camera: There is an external security camera by the hot tub.
Parking: 5 vehicles maximum.
Please remember that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case-by-case basis.
Winter 2026/2027: Propane Grills may not be accessible during winter months, and propane is not monitored from Nov 1-May 1. Decks are shoveled for structural safety only and are not guaranteed to be free and clear of snow during the winter months.
